- To reinforce institutional capacity and other stakeholders working together against different diseases.
- To launch awareness campaign among scientific and veterinarian related to different diseases and knowledge of antimicrobial resistances against different diseases.
Relevance and Scientific Importance of the Event
One Health is an emerging filed and integrated approach to management and under-standing of human, animal and environmental determinants of disease, has been promoted by international institutions as a platform to improve public health outcome
We are living in a society where new disease outbreaks in humans and animals are due to devastating changes equally in environment, animal care, and human activities. Human health has strong connection with the health of environment and animals. In poor and under developing countries, the condition gets severe due to lack of awareness and inadequate training. The chance of re-occurrence of different diseases due to lack of coordination and partnership among one health components like animal, human, and environmental professionals. Furthermore, joint research program execute the complicated problems is still as issue at country level. So, this event help to develop the new polices for institutes.
In world the One Health approach supports global health security by improving coordination, collaboration and communication at the animal- human–environment interface to address shared health threats such as zoonotic diseases, antimicrobial resistance, food safety and others. Over the previous period, many countries has implemented the One Health approach and demonstrated standard paybacks. However, in order to build sustainability of One Health in these efforts, One Health champions and implementers need to collect and provide government decision-makers with country-level data on One Health’s impact to help justify policy decisions and resource allocations. Due to the far-reaching, often apparently all surrounding, nature of One Health in promoting synergies of multiple disciplines and sectors, the One Health community has faced difficulties in determining specific One Health impact indicators for formally evaluating One Health successes. In this conference, the researchers a) briefly reviews the ongoing commentary on the familiar benefits of the implementation of a One Health approach in the global health security context, b) debates challenges in measuring the impact of One Health, and c) proposes possible solutions for evaluating the impact of One Health on world health security.
